I've been trying to watch tv to see if I like anything and really can't find what I want. I bought O at Home and another decorating magazine but didn't like anything. It's my 1st place and i'm completely clueless and what to do with it.

Which rooms are you trying to decorate? Are you moving furniture around or painting the rooms? If you are painting, what colors do you like? Better Homes and Garden is a good magazine. Here's a few photos in hopes to help you along.

Real Simple is a nice one. They also give great ideas about how to take something you may already have and decorate with it.

Check out their online site too:
http://www.realsimple.com

Advice though... don't try to do it all at once. Add some pieces you know you need/want, and then decorate as you see things. You'll break your budget if you try to do it all at once!

I went to a consignment store when I moved recently into a full home. I found some great antiques and other pieces. The nice part about it too is the fact that if later down the road, the pieces don't work, you can usually sell them right back to the same place!

Good luck and have fun!

Have you tried Better Homes & Garden? Also have you ever watched "Sell This House?" I mention this because this show airs what people can do to their homes to make it sell better, such as changing the paint and so forth, and it doesn't cost a lot money. If it does seem expensive, you can at least get some ideas and tone it down to fit your budget.

Domino is kinda cool. They show you things that are nice and where to buy. Thats basically what it is. Or Martha Stewart & Real Simple. You could go online and search decorating magazines. Thats what I did.

Ya know, I just browse JcPenney.com or go to Home and Garden's site, and then Martha Stewart has great ideas too.
Also if you watch a show, like soap operas or Desperate Housewives or anything like that, they always have great ideas to pick up on.

Good luck!!
