Blowdry your hair with the dryer pointing downwards, this will help straighten some of it in the drying process. After your whole head is dry, seperate your hair into 4 sections [one on each side for the top, one of each side for the bottom] and begin using the flat iron piece by piece for every section of hair. After one section is done, blowdry the section with your dryer on the "cool" setting. This will help "set" the hair. Move on the next section and repeat. This takes me exactly an hour, my hair is super thick & curly, a few inches past my boobs. Hope that helps.

my hair is also very curly and frizzy. what works for me is to blow dry my hair really well and then use a hair straightener, but once you straighten a piece, put it up in a clip on your head to seperate it from the curly strands. if your hair is still too curly for that, my friend used an actual iron on her hair with her other friend helping her. (also dry first).

A round brush, a blow dryer and a hair straightener. I straighten my hair almost everyday...And it's really curly!! It only takes me like 20 minutes if I let it dry a little before I start blow drying.

put all but a little hair in the back in a clippy on top of your hair, straighten with a straightener, and keep letting a little bit down as you go. Also use aerosol spray oil sheen on it, just a little, or it will be greasy as hell, and keep brushing it. I do that on my hair and it works everytime!

Use Kerastase Oleo-Relax serum. This completely changes the texture of hair to silky and manageable. Then use an iron, preferably a ceramic one like Chi.
