You need to be more specific in your inquiry. I don't see how religion can put a hurdle in front of some to get married (unless you are talking about having to take some pre-marriage counseling or something). As to separation of the sexes...you got me on that, unless you are talking about priests or something. In most churches I've been to there is little segregation.

I guess that can depend on the religion. My religion puts a lot of effort to get young single adults together and married off...it was kind of annoying when I wasn't in the mood for dating, but for the most part (and now that I'm happily married) I think it was good thing.

It helps one avoid the bodily conception of life.Marriage is to protect women and children. It is actually to protect women from evil lusty men. Women should have their bodies be sacred not prostitute them to many men. The women and any child born of her Willl only suffer wityhout a husband or father. The man will gust go away if he likes. Just see how scripture is to protect not control. Though man changes it to control.
