I'm gonna get highlights during christmas break and my mom wants to do them for me (buying a packet) because it's cheeper. Will they turn out ok? I'm also gonna get my hair big roller-permed (with BIG curls) like Aubree&Aundrea in Danity Kane. Will that be ok?(gonna b 13 in march.)(plz dont report =[)

honestly perms aren't that's pretty. It looks more frizzy than curly. If you are thinking it's going to look like those big beautiful spiral curls, I don' t think they do

Perms are always a risky thing to try. Everyones hair reacts differently. Instead of getting a perm I would sugest buting 1 1/2 inch velro curlers. After you dry your hair put them in and let them sit for about 10 min, you will get big bouncy curls that are very soft. As for highlights...I have done them myself at hom before and they turned out okay. I do sugest using the wand appication instead of the cap because you get better placement.

better idea: Get a lemon, and cut it in half, then rub the lemon all over your hair and go sit in the sun for say...1/2 hour, the longer the brighter the highlights. This isn't guaranteed, but you can try.
Don't do this if you have a sensitive scalp or skin.
