As u may be aware Brahman, Atman is Hindu philosophy.

Brahman:

It represents the supreme reality / God for Hindus.

Supreme Reality - Brahman has two aspects, transcendent (impersonal) and immanent (personal).

In the impersonal aspect Brahman is without attributes (nirguna Brahman).

In personal aspect (saguna Brahman) the God is creator, preserver and controller of the universe.

Saguna Brahman is worshipped in male and female form.

The truth (Ultimate Reality) is one, Sages call it by different names - there is one God, (Supreme Reality) perceived differently.

Atman:
It literally means soul. It is that eternal core of the personality that survives death and transmigrates to a new life or is released from the bonds of existence. there is only ONE Soul (i.e. Brahman) in the universe. This soul manifests as different individual souls. It is also interpreted as the “Main Essence” of man, as his Highest Self. “A” in this word is a negative particle. “Tma” means “darkness”. The word “tamas” — “ignorance”, “spiritual darkness” — has the same root. Therefore “A-tma” or “Atman” means “opposite to darkness”, “shining”.

In essence, Atman is the best, the Divine part of everyone’s multidimensional organism.

Brahman=Atman=Brahman
Brahman is the totality of the universe as it is present outside of you;Atman is the totality of the universe as it is present within you; Brahman is the totality of the world known objectively, Atman is the totality of the world known subjectively.

Atman-Brahman is the "Self" but not in the way the Western Mind would consider it. As the Rg Veda states, all that gets passed on during rebirth is "name and form". The "Self" is that which dictates what is passed on and how the next life will arise. Check out the Rg Veda and the examples of the mango tree and the milk for a better clarification.
