definitely eating disorders are the worst kind of addiction, because to overcome it you have to learn to live in balance with food. you can't just give it up completely like alcohol or other drugs, but are confronted by it several times a day. it may not have the initial chemical withdrawal effects of other substances, but the psychological addiction is just as strong.

its difficult to measure addiction. as addiction itself goes through stages. anything that you feel the need for without having any control physical or mental, its a bad addiction. the less control you have the worst the addiction it is. there are some substance that physically when taking them, your body and brain gradually require more and more untill you reach stage where even a very high dosage doesn't give the same satisfaction. the worset type would be the one that cause more damage to your life from all aspects, physical, emotional, social etc.

Both are equally bad. Cigarette burns out your lungs, can lead to different kind of cancers and impair functioning of the heart, reduce stamina and vitality. This is progressive and over time the lungs seem clogged and breathing becomes difficult. Alcohol can bring some personality disorders to the person. Once the person is addicted, the amount of alcohol intake progressively increases because the body becomes reststant to small amounts of alcohol. It will decrease stamina, Kill appetite which can lead to a number of health problems.
