I do not think it was right for this preacher tp be snooping around other churches just to see if the members are gay.If Gay people want to hear the word of god,why stop them?

Funny, there was this one guy 2,000 years ago who said love everyone, don't judge, and follow the Golden Rule. It's a shame that "leaders" don't listen to him anymore.

Amen to that. When people like this preacher draw a line in the sand and say "Homosexuals, you have to stand over there" it makes it very hard to share the good news of God and Jesus Christ with homosexuals. People forget that God loves us all despite our sins -- it's our sins he can't abide with. It's not right to stop someone who is trying to learn what God wants from his/her life from entering the church (now, if I saw Osama bin Laden trying to enter the church, I don't think I could stop myself from stomping the life out of him before he made it through the doors...)

As a christian, it make me a bit ill. Churches shouldn't turn away anyone, we're all sinners. I understand not condoning the gay lifestyle, but turning away worshippers is wrong on so many levels. A church is to offer to salvation to any who want it, not just those you find acceptable. I understand not wanting to authorize gay ministers, but worshippers? If they turn away all the sinners, there won't be a church.

ALL who come to God in The Way he proscribes will receive His free gift of Salvation... ALL includes homosexuals.... But what is being condemed by this pastor is not giving The Good News to Homosexuals...but rather saying to homosexuals that it is ok for them to continue the very practices that are an abomination to God after"suposadly", "repenting" of all the other sins they have commited... that is not The Way God proscribes... If I had come to God with the intention of seeking "forgivness" for all of my sins but one...I would not have been honestly repentant and would not have received God's free gift of Salvation.... the same goes for the homosexual... if one comes to God with a truly repentant heart one will strive to not continue the sins of the past... yes...all will fail in one way or another... that is the weakness of mortal flesh... but to say that one can intentionaly seek God and continue deliberatly in sin is an deliberate act of repellion against God and no one acting in that unrepentant state will enter heaven... homosexual or otherwise....

They should NOTstop them. It is men like that, that give Christians a bad name. This man should read the Bible he claims to preach, get to know the Jesus he claims to love, and learn something.

Oh, people like this ruin it for the rest of us.

i agree with you that is totally none of his business so what if they r gay once they realize that being gay is wrong once becoming a christian if they want to but its nobody elses business if they wanna be gay and go to church then let them its not like you can tell someone they cant or arent gay if they are then they are if not then they r not.Let them live their life the same way they have been living it for years.Let them live theirs and you live yoursd. You cant live someone elses life for you............Let them be theirself not you!

>> "When we take God out, what's God going to do?" he asked, answering his own question, "He's going to spank our hind." <<

If that's the kind of God this poor fellow worships....then...well - he can have Him.

I am no supporter of the homosexual lifestyle....but these "one trick ponies" just gotta expand their ministries and their minds a bit.

I'm sorry, but I simply gotta put "hunger" and "homelessness" above "homosexuality" on my list of Gospel priorities.
