So here it is. I asked this question before but here it is again. I was friends with this girl--- then I asked her out and she said she liked me a lot too and that she would go out with me--- she said she couldn't (later on) because she had already made plans with her mom to go shopping that day--- now we don't talk to each other (not because we don't like each other for some reason) and usually we talk every day. Very strange and theres no way to break the ice. On top of that she is leaving for a week so I can't say anything immidiately. I need help, what should I do?

Just call her up and ask her out again (after she gets back) Or call her now and make a date for when she comes back...she is going away for a week so she probably doesn't have any plans for the day or night she gets back, if she makes another excuse without suggesting a different day then you know she is not interested.

Well..... the evasive, quiet, low key approach clearly isn't working. I'd suggest you go to plan "B".... the direct approach. You could tell her that you really like her, and would like to spend some quality time with her. Ask her if she would like that too, and if she would, you could lead her into a conversation about what you two could do together, then pick a time and day to do it. She's either going to commit to going out with you, or maybe tell you why she doesn't want to. Just be open and honest about how you feel and hopefully, she'll be the same way with you.

If you can find a time when whe can talk to you for just a few minutes, even if it's on the phone you need to just ask her if everything is okay with the two of you. You can tell her again that you like her a lot and that you really want to know where she is with her feelings. It's a risk but you might want to tell her that if she isn't interested any longer it's okay to tell you.

Good luck.

I don't get it. You stopped talking to each other because she went shopping with her mother instead of going out with you?

Anyway, if she likes you and you like her then just go and talk to her, ask her out again.

As akward as It may seem, I think you should just start talking to her. see what happens.

Don't move right back into he 'going out' thing unless she brings it. just try to talk to her and be friends again.

For example just call her up and tell her you hope she has a good vacation and to give you a call when she gets home.

good luck ;)

when your friends then you turn into hubbies it's often akward. If you do something romantic or just out there then that would probably help. Tell her before she leaves that youll miss her and blah blah blah you know the whol romantic movie scene where the girl leaves.

Listen, if she's not yours then just let it be...There must be a reason why she wants to stop the communication...And she's leaving anyways so why are you worried?

If you're long time friend then I would talk to her, but if she's just new I wouldn't bother...There's plenty more girls out there ;)

Call her, be casual, make a few jokes, ask her out again. There's no easy answer - you're going to have to just get the guts to make the move, buddy.

Before she leaves give her a card. In the card, write how you are feeling. Ask her how she is feeling. She may be feeling that she doesn't want to be more than friends with you...which is fine. She may also just be serioiusly busy and have no time for a date.
