How would i order the translation for the latin phrase: propter fortunam liber est.?

Propter fortunam liber est

translates as, on account of fortune free is.

I dont know how to put in correct word order.

He is free as a result of his fortune. I would be bold enough to insert a "good" in there, as that is the sense.
He is free as a result of his good fortune.

He is free due to fortune.

A freer translation would be: He's free (just) by luck. Fortuna can mean both fortune and luck.
