She stoped smoking with the help of the patch, everything is fine, the only thing she hates that if she eats, not right away, but she needs to go to the restroom. This only happend after she stop smoking. Is this normal, does it have to do with stop smoking?

By "go to the restroom" after eating, do you mean she's having frequent BM's? As long as they're normal consistency and there's no pain, it may just be her body readjusting to not having nicotine ... if it really bothers her, I'd suggest a consult with her doctor. However, if she has pain and cramping along with an urgency to go, it may be IBS. Best of luck, and hope she is feeling better soon!

It may be a side effect of the patch. I've never heard of it before, but smoking takes a heavy toll on the body, and every body reacts differently. Has she consulted a doctor?

It sounds like you are saying that for 35 years while smoking, she didn't go to the bathroom.

Going to the bathroom is quite normal you know.

Her body is probably flushing out the toxins that have built up after all these years. It should be a good thing.

CONGRATULATIONS to the entire family!!

You mean to poop? I hope she isn't so fearful of gaining weight now that she's stopped smoking that she is in the making herself throw up. (Yes, that does happen).

If not and she is just having to go....it shouldn't have anything to do with quitting the smoking. If you said she's been coughing a lot, THAT would have to do with quitting.

well now that she's allowing her body to hydrate (the elimination of smoke helps this) her body may be responding to all the moisture that is redeveloping...

either that or the patch is giving her a reaction.

keep an eye on it... see if she improves or not...

Look on the back of the package, most of this stuff has side effects, so see if anything out of the ordinary is mentioned.
