my cousin has been losing alot of weight, i mean like 20 lbs in only 2 and a half weeks. i dont see her eat often, she has headaches all the time, and she has a past with anorexia. her face is skinnier, and all. and she says its eating right and exorcizing but my uncle and i never see her eat, and or excercize. and her mom used to put the idea that she was fat in her mind constantly, and i dont know if i should expect something or not. my uncle saw her the other day and even asked her, are you sick? and to wich she replied "no i just laid off the fast foods and started to do crunchies" should we be worried?

definatley be worried!! the reason i say this is because u said u never see her excersise! there is no way anyone can lose that much weight that fast withought working out atleast 3 hours a day! that is way too much weight to lose in 2 weeks in the first place. it is unhealthy. im not for sure but if i were you i would be concerned

The ideal weight loss rate is 2-3 pounds a week. Since she's losing way more than that, get her into an intervention program.

yes you probobly should be worried, cause anorexic people do lie and try to hide it so no one will stop them from losing weight. but i think that you should help her right away, try taking her out to eat somewhere and if she doesnt eat, then u will know, but keep an eye on her too if she does eat, cause she could be throwing it up also. but people like that need help as soon as possible

Yes. Get her help now and beat the snot out of her mom for being so wreckless.

Fact is, she also needs help. Send her to rehab. She wont get over it without rehab. Period. If you don't, she could end up dead. Doctors are also great resources for what to do. They can also do a test to see if she is potentially anorexic without her really knowing...outside of the physical signs.

Yup, be worried. Sounds like the anorexia is back. She needs to see a doctor. Good luck to you and her.

She has either gone back to being anorexic or has another serious health problem to cause that kind of weight loss, you should be deeply concerned.

She's back at it again.
