For example, my grandparents who have already died, will I know them?

Wouldn't you rather know them as young, perfectly healthy people living on an earth restored to paradise, knowing that they would never have die again?

If your grandparents are in heaven and you go to heaven, you will surely know them but it is much more likely that both you and your grandparents will be part of the second resurrection which will mean you will be resurrected to earth as part of the meek ones who will inherit it. Because your bodies will be young and perfect, you may not know eachother at first, but as you will also have perfect memory, it shouldn't take you long to recognize eachother from shared memories.

There are several indications in the Bible that we will. One is in 1 Thessalonians when Paul stated that Jesus was coming back and that we would be with Him for eternity. He stated that we do not grieve as the world does over those who have died because when Christ returns He will bring with Hm those who had died in Christ and seems to indicate that we will recognize and be together for eternity. There is also a reference in the Old Testament that indicates that David believed he would know his son when they got to heaven. I think there are others also but that il I can think of off the top of my head.

Sure you will "know" them. However, whether or not you will be chilling with them or living in some heavenly neighborhood with them is another question, which I think the answer is probably no. You may cross paths, but I'm guessing you will be too busy to worry about much.

I would assume so, even though it states in 1 Thessalonians 4 that our bodies will be changed to a new one I would imagine that also our senses will be more sharp and powerful. Maybe we will know each other by our voice or something else that our new magnified senses will interpret.

I think so, remember on the mount Peter, John, and James knew who Moses and Elijah was. We will know who people are. Jesus told the thief "Today, you will be with me in Paradise" I bet that thief knew who brought him home.

There seems to be a lot of anecdotal evidence that we will

Also, we shall know as we are known.

And, now we see as in a mirror [though a glass darkly], but then we shall see face-to-face.

no. not if it is as christians proclaim. no sorrow, no sadness in heaven. if u remember your family then you will remember the ones that are in hell, and u know they will be tortured for the rest of eternity, how can u be happy knowing that your family is being tortured.

Yes, you will know them, as who they were here, but you will not love them more than anyone else.
