Honey, I am sorry to tell ya but it will take alot more than just sit ups to get rid of your belly. I have had 2 kids in 2 1/2 yrs so i am by no means skinny but you need a good strong support system, good diet and will power. then you can think about sit ups and other exercise. If you want a great exercise program get Tae-Bo Bootcamp. It is so fun but it will work the hell out of ya!

First off, I have a belly, and it's something that I am addressing as we speak. You should do ten minutes, don't count how many, just do it for three songs (most songs are 3 minutes long). Make sure you are doing different types of sit ups, like normal ones, then put on leg up and hold it up, pulling yourself up to that knee, then switch legs. Then hold both legs up towards the ceiling and touch your toes (try to, lord knows I can't touch yet, but each day I am closer).
When you first start, your stomach will be really sore, and you might feel nausea, but after the third day, it will stop. My sister did this rountine, and her belly was gone in one month!!!!!

I need two months, but it will be worth it. I do it as soon as I wake up in the morning, while I am still in bed, so it doesn't hurt my back on the floor, and I am more likely to do it. yes, I get up to pee, but it's nice to lay back in bed for a minute and relax. Then I have been doing it for almost three songs (mostly two), and then I also roll over and push up on my arms to stretch out my belly, so it's not sore all day. It also strengthens your back. Good luck!!!!

Zero. Sit-ups and crunches will not get rid of the fat in your mid-section. It will, however, strengthen the muscle under the fat.

To lose the fat, you need to eat less, eat healthy, and exercise. Cut back on what you eat and eat plenty of proteins and good carbs. Try to cut back on refined sugars and fatty foods. And exercise. Sit-ups is a good start, but work your whole body. Go for walks or jogging. Lift weights. Do other bodyweight exercises like push-ups and pull-ups.

None! You need to run & loose weight.. All you will get from sit-ups is a strong belly with 3 rolls.

None! Actually, doing a whole bunch of situps before losing weight will make your belly look bigger as muscle bulks up underneath fat.

have a low calorie diet, lots of cardio, and just work your abs like you do the rest of your body.

yoga and pilates works well for the core group, as does weights. sit ups only build muscle, if you don't lose the fat first...well...what is the point of doing sit ups if something is going to cover it up?

try kickboxing too...
