I've had a frozen turkey in my freezer now for about two years. Think it's still good? Or is it time to pitch it?

I've had a frozen turkey in my freezer now for about two years. Think it's still good? Or is it time to pitch it? - Just wanted to add one detail - I do not know what a "deep" freezer is. The freezer it is in is just the regular freezer that is in my fridge. Does that make a difference?

Time to toss it! Even if the meat wasn't spoiled by now, it will probably be freezer burnt and dry.

The other answers sound good, but are we talking refrigerator freezer or deep freezer.. Deep freezer is better for long term. The refrigerator defrosts a bit to keep it frost free.

Standard storage time for a whole frozen turkey is 1 year. It's a done deal--time to toss!

I used to work in a grocery warehouse and under govt. regulations we were allowed to keep them for sale for up to 5 years. Also, they are allowed, LEGALLY, to be sold as fresh as long as they were not kept at more than 30 degrees BELOW zero.
