The jokers on Yahoo answers, usually have at least one person telling them that the joke is old. It seems to me that these people think once thay have heard a joke, no one should ever tell it again. I wonder if they ever tell the jokes which they have been told.

Just to point out, I have never put a joke as such, on. It was just an observation while reading other peoples jokes. If I saw a joke I had previously seen, I would be interested to see other comments, but as I had heard it before, I would disqualify myself from commenting, unless I had something useful to say. If I said it was 'old' it would only be because it was still 'good.'

thats a very good point which i might be able to elaborate on
if you look at these peoples questions most of them dont actually tell any jokes, they just seem to have heard them all and slate the rest, makes you wonder why someone will write something on a joke that is so old instead of just flicking to the next

Its not like that... Normally to make the situation enjoyable normally no one bothers about the repetition of a joke one or two times !!! But if the same joke appears 7 times a week , even people like you, who are against saying a joke "Old" will also start yelling at them !!! You are New and will understand the things gradually and you will be also part and parcel of the team !!!

I don't say that jokes are old if I've heard them before, if I liked the joke I call it a classic and still thank the person for the laugh. Those who say otherwise are just a**holes.
