My sister has never done "preforming arts" but I'd like to sign her up for an acting class because I see that she's good in acting and looks like she would enjoy it. But, how do I find a good acting class near OceanCounty, NJ? I know we have a Strand Thearter in a close town and maybe she would be good enough to start a acting step there. What and Where should I find these classes and could she autition in the Strand Thearter in the Local town.

I Googled and found lots of acting schools in New Jersey, you'd just have to pick the one that's the closest.

You find one that works well for you.

In my school I liked Peter PArkin (MFA Pasadena Playhouse) with his approach using Joseph Chaukin's Improvisational methods better than John Larson's approach using Stanislavaski's An Actor Prepairs.

However I used to see LArson at all the same entertainment events. We ran into each other all the time.

Parkin has his own acting troupe, him and I saw eye to eye on lots of things and his "old lady" had a resume anyone would be proud of, including 3 years on the Smothers Brothers show as both a member of the dancing and singing ensembles.
