I'm with the mini meatballs, they're already prepared, however here's a sauce from the 60's when mini meatballs were all the rage:

1/2 cup Heinz Chili Sauce (the red stuff, in the narrow necked bottles)
1/2 cup Grape Jelly

Combine Chili Sauce and Grape Jelly together in a large saucepan over meduim low heat, stirring until well combined and the jelly melts.......add the pre-cooked meatballs and heat till warmed through......this has been a classic appetizer recipe that got lost amongst the "new wave 80's" meals, but the oldies are making a surprising comeback.......And whomever thought of combining chili sauce and grape jelly together was something of a whiz................Another one could be

Chicken Tonkatsu Nuggets

Prepared bagged chicken nuggets, heated on the side.........the dipping sauce is

Equal parts (I use a quarter cup of each)

Soy sauce
Worchestershire Sauce
Ketchup ( you might need a little more ketchup to thicken it a bit)

Serve the baked nuggets on a plate and serve the dipping sauce (with toothpicks) on the side........this also gets rave reviews......Good luck!!!!!

Mini-Quiches

Ingredients

8 oz Cottage cheese-small curd
1/4 c Sour cream
4 oz Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c Bisquick (I used RecipEase)
1/4 c Melted butter
3 Eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients with
Electric mixer. Grease mini-muffin tins or use Teflon ones.
Fill 3/4 full. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until brown.
Hints: Add onion, bacon, mushrooms, etc. May be frozen.
Reheat at 300 degrees or microwave for 3 minutes on high.
Note: These are great! Be sure to add cooked bacon and
Some diced onion. This recipe only makes about
1 1/2 Dozen so be sure to at least double! or triple you're going to pop a few in your mouth before you get to the party

Mix 8 oz soft cream cheese with 1T mayo and 1T chives.

Partly cook a pound of bacon slices that have been cut in half(til no longer pink, but still really limp)

Buy a loaf of that Pepperidge Farm firm bread, remove the crusts and smush down each piece with a rolling pin.

Butter one side of each piece, and put face down. Spread the cream cheese on the top sides. Roll up the bread into long tubes (so that the butter is on the outside), and cut each tube in half so you have twice as many. Secure bacon with a toothpick.

Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes, or until bacon looks cooked and brown like normal bacon should (crispy).

Remove from oven and serve.

Oh this is my favorite. I make it for every party and holiday i go to.

Spicy ham n' cheese dip

2 - 8 oz. packs of cream cheese, softened
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar (out of the bag is fine)
2 cups sour cream
1 pack Bryan already sliced ham (chop it up)
1/4-1/3 cup chopped jalapenos
I use already sliced jalapenos in a jar and i pour a little of the pepper juice in this mix as well. mmm .mmm.

Mix everything in a bowl, spread in a casserole and bake at 375 for 25 minutes or until brown and bubbly on top. Serve hot or room temp. I usually put out tostitos, or fritos, or triscuts, or wheat thins with it. I promise it will be a hit.

that is tremendous ordinary, tastes tremendous, and looks extremely beautiful! Its also a tremendous make-ahead. ( in truth it extremely works best if made an afternoon ahead) you'll need some sliced ham-skinny yet not paper skinny, a jar of pickled asparagus or pickled eco-friendly beans, and some smooth spreadable cream cheese. spread some cream cheese on each and each and every slice of ham virtually to the sting. Lay an asparagus spear or bean on authentic of the cream cheese ( if necessary trim and upload some extra, you want the asparagus or bean to develop good to the aspects) Roll the ham up valuable and tight, like a jelly roll, wrap in foil or plastic wrap, and refrigerate in one day. purely formerly the party slice into pinwheels about 3/4 inch thick and manage on a valuable platter, reduce area up. once you're cutting the rolls up you'll favor to trim a touch off the aspects or they received't look extremely as valuable. ( I continually eat the little scraps- they nonetheless flavor solid!)

Cocktail Wieners in Sauce

10 ounces Current Jelly
6 ounces (3/4 cup) Mustard

Heat slowly and watch, jelly will burn.
Add sliced or cocktail hot dogs (uncooked) and simmer for 10 minutes.

-My mom makes these for Super Bowl parties, etc. in a crock pot. She just leaves the hot dogs in the sauce with the crock pot on (low I believe) and everyone can help themselves!
