This morning I was watching the news. I heard there is a possibility of military draft in the near future. What is the likelyhood of this happening? Will women be drafted or just men?

The way this draft would be set up would be for men AND women. It's not necessarily all combat jobs, especially if you claim conscientious objector status.
The likelihood of it happening are slim to none. It would be political suicide. People would riot in the streets. History has shown us that conscription is not the way.
And history would repeat itself.

There is a chance that the draft will be reinstated. So far the Democrats Party leaders has brought during the last presidential election. They accused the Republicans of wanting to start it again. Yet they were the only ones that talked about it. How ever if he don't sign up he will not be able to get scholarships for college and will not be able to receive any other government benefits.

Slim to None. Women will not be drafted. Just men and everyone that volunteers will be able to join the Armed Forces of the USA, which does include women.

I dunno...im 35 and prolly could end up a valid draftee...but still, even though they talk about it , it's gonna be hard for the armed service commitee to sign on, but that'll change as fuel gets added to the fear-fire (drive-by-media).

i do not think it will happen because too many politicians children and rich peoples children will be drafted and that is not going to pass muster when it comes down to it.

Its not going to happen. Rumors of that are just more scare tactics thrown around by the left to further their political agenda.
