first take a deep breath and relax.

you may need to talk to a professional about the stress you are feeling.

in the meantime do something that relaxes you. when i get stressed i take a hot bath and read a book. find something that you enjoy doing and do that for a while. also (i know this sounds cheesy) think happy thoughts. think about the last time you were truly happy. what were you doing where were you.

you have to believe that this will work itself out. good luck

You have gotten some great advice here, except the weed part.

Try to slow down your breathing. When you breath inyour stomach should extend out and when you exhale it should go flat.

Try to get out of your thoughts by distraction. I have used counting backwards by 3's (100, 97, 94 etc).

It is important to see a therapist. There is help for you. A great book is the Anxiety and Phobias Workbook by Bourne.

Also there are some great websites too. Here is the one for the anxiety disorder association of american http://www.adaa.org/

wishing you the best. :)

Anxiety can be compared to with nervousness. Are you feeling really nervious along with all those stressful thoughts??? If so...you could have anxiety. If you have been consuming alchahol or drugs it could excalade your problem so Stopping things like that would improve your condition. My first advice would be a councelor or some kind of therapy. Last resort, go and speak to your doctor for a possible drug.

Well, anxiety attacks, feel like someone is stepping on your chest and you cannot breath. Sometimes you heart rate increases as well as you blood pressure. My advice is to see your family physician to have him/her check you heart rate & blood pressure just to make sure this stressful events aren't causing you any real health problems and then once that is done and your stress level doesn't change I would suggest seeing a therapist to help you talk through your stressful events. Hope this helps you!

sit back and take a deep breath. Start thinking of the alphabet, and think about something that you like or enjoy doing that starts with A, then B, then C.

For me, A has always been for apple, B for bubble baths, C for my cat... Keep going, it is a true way to let the stress go and put a smile on your face.
