cigarette causes cancer more than marijuana and marijuana has certain advantages which cigarette doesn't have ! also in some researches it was found that marijuana helps to prevent cancer by little but when marijuana is smoked its increases the chances of heart attack within in first four hours

Smoke in the Lungs of any kind of smoke is not good! However some smokes are heaver then others, some are smaller molecules and can get deeper into the baronages, but cigarette smoke fits all the parameters to be a cancer coursing smoke. Marijuana has been know to break up smokers flem and stop a smokers cough, however that is light smoking of Marijuana.

I don't know, but I find that if you go the www.webmd.com and ask them these type of health questions they are pretty helpful. I use the site myself. For the record try to refrain from both. You seem like a much better person w/o them. At least you have the brains to inquire about it.

Both have many cancer-causing substances and as marijuana is produced in an uncontrolled and unregulated manner you have no way of knowing exactly what is contained in each spliff you smoke.

With marijuana you also get the added delight of a vastly increased chance of developing a serious mental illness, such as paranoid schizophrenia (presumably so you can blame the fact that you've got cancer on "the voices").

And for the answerer who seems to think that if it's all natural it won't harm you, just reflect that asbestos fibres, uranium radiation, coal dust and raw tobacco are also "all natural" as well... and all cause cancer, as does marijuana. Being "natural" has no bearing whatsoever on whether it causes cancer or not... but if you don't believe me then just listen to the voices in your head because it means you're already too stoned to understand.

let's think about this. Cigarettes are man made, adding gobs of junk to natural tabacco, that makes it a killer. Marijuana on the other hand is GOD made. It grows, you pick it, dry it and smoke it...marijuana is natural, if smoked in a pipe, the paper to roll it in is not good for you. Pot has so many medical uses. Remember, anything natural should be ok, and I personally HATE drugs, but, I do not think pot is a drug. Your teacher needs to go back to school and take a few more classes

No it doesn't, but I wouldn't touch either.

Cigarettes give you cancer, heart disease, impotence and are the greatest cause of amputations.

Marijuana leads you to harder drugs and gives you psychotic episodes and schizophrenia.
