Do you find that this is worse when the sun has been on your face. It could be a pigmentation thing. And if its not hair then normal bleaching wont help. You could consider laser treatment at a clinic. Go onto the internet and look. I have a simular problem and Im also very concious of this problem. Mine however is worse in the summer. I have looked into laser treatment, There are also chemical peels that you could try. Also you will need to visit a clinic. I tried to cover up with makeup and found it only made it stand out more. Not saying that will be the case for you though. Hope you find something thats helpful with the answers you recieve on yahoo answers. good luck

My first girlfriend had a similar feature, it was no problem to me as i really like natural looking women. So my advice is accept how you look and get inner confidence. remember people don't really look at you in this detail, they see you in one image glancing casually.
If you try to do anything about it, the result will bring attention to the fact you are hiding something which looks worse.

dark patches on lips can be lightened by simply rubbing a slice of lemon on lips.. can be a bit drying so make sure to moisturize at night.

unfortunately, your upper lip will always be (slightly?)darker than the rest of your face despite all the things people recommend.a good foundation can help even the tone out though.i feel you should see a dermatologist and /or proffesional makeup artist

You could try a cream called fade out available in Boots. Fades uneven skin tones apparently.

I know you said it doesn't look like hair but trying bleaching it with something like Jolen. May make a difference.

Lemon juice acts as a natural lightener, why don't you try applying it neat to the problem area. I am sure that you notice it more than other people.

umm. i know this doesn't really help u're problem, but what i think is, don't do anything about it. i haven't really had this problem so i don't know exactly how you feel, but this is what i think. girls shouldn't have to rip off their facial hair to be considered "pretty", and all the guys that make fun of girls for actually having facial hair are insecure asshoels. i mean if people are making fun of you, i think, you shouln't do anything, just to show them that you don't care what they think. haha. yeah. wow i typed a lot. anyways, make your own choices, but more importantly, be yourself and learn to like yourself for who you are. :]]]
