I wan to try to bleach my side bangs but I want to make sure it works first.

Do not use bleach, go to the store and buy a blonde highlighting kit or get hair color from sally's.

Straight up bleach doesn't really turn your blonde, but rather nearly white or yellow, depending on your hair color. It's really not a good idea to do so. If you want to do your own bangs, I'd stick with a color lightening kit from Sally's beauty shop. Bleach can ruin your hair, it will make it really dried out and brittle-it may even fall out! I know from people who've actually tried it themselves. Just be careful and don't be stupid and use bleach.

DO NOT USE CLOROX or any clothing bleach. You will burn your hair, make it brittle, or turn it a funkey color. You can burn you r scalp and even ur hair folicles and lose all your hair. If you want to make it blonde then go get a bleaching kit. It is not made with the conventional household bleach. But it will not turn "blonde" it will turn bleach blonde or even white dependingon your color now. To turn it a natural looking blonde color, you will need to buy boxed dye.
Or better yet. Get it done by a proffessional so you don't screw it up.

it FRIES your hair and thins it out so bad it will just rip out. don't do it. i've bleached my hair before and completely ruined it, had to cut it all off and wait for it to grow back in. i will never bleach my hair ever again, i only dye it.

It never looks real, but if you're only bleaching some of your hair I guess that's not an issue for you.

try it and find out. NO NO NO j/j, it will fry your hair at the root and make it fall out. Most dyes contain combinations of ammonia and peroxide but not the peroxide we buy at the pharmacy for cuts and things.

Don't use real bleach.. you have to use hair dye for it... Be careful, those chemicals are nothing to mess with.

yes but it's really not a healthy thing for your hair.... go get some real hair dye from the store instead. it's better for you and works better too.

Yes it does and fast! But you can also lighten your hair with color and a high volume developer from a beauty supply store.

nononono!!what ever u do dont try it!It will fry ur hair to the max!I triend it in my bangs 2.I even use salon products.My hair was soft and silky b-4 but now its awful!!!!
