I like both myself. I would say because pickles have more flavor with all the seasoning and vinegar it is pickled in.

Pickling brings a lot of flavor to the party. Cukes are bland otherwise.

The salt adds more saltiness,
The vinegar adds more acidity,
The spices add flavor,
the chemicals, well...they...do something....

I think cucumbers are great plain, but they are kind of bland without the help of pickling, aren't they?

i think of of they're very suitable pickled yet there is not something like the definitely ingredient. as quickly as you're one that does unlike cucumbers (like me on a similar time as i became a clean newborn) then yeh, dip them in that vinegar!
