I don't see why not. Sounds good to me. A cornbread stuffing is good with anything!!! Green bean casserole? My favorite is broccoli with cheese. That goes wonderful with ham. I like squash casserole myself.
1 cup carrots, peeled and sliced 1/8 inch thick
4 cups summer squash, slices 1/4 inch thick
4 cups zucchini, slices 1/4 inch thick
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2/3 cup crumbled cornbread (leftover from the recipe of your choice)
2/3 cup dry white bread, torn or chopped in 1/4 inch pieces
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted (not spread or tub product)
Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 2 quart baking dish with cooking spray.
In medium saucepan, bring about 4 cups water to a boil.
Add carrots.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 6 minutes.
Add squash, zucchini and onion.
Continue simmering uncovered 3-4 minutes or until carrots are tender crisp.
Drain and transfer to a large bowl.
In a small bowl stir together next four ingredients until well blended.
Pour over vegetables and mix well.
Transfer to a 2–quart baking dish.
Cover with foil.
Bake 30 minutes.
In medium bowl combine breads, add melted butter and toss together lightly to coat evenly.
Remove foil from the casserole dish.
Top vegetable mixture with bread/corn bread mixture and continue baking an additional five minutes.
Serve hot.
Oh. . .and instead of plain old boring mashed potatoes try this. I peel the potatoes. Slice pretty thin, layer them in a baking dish with salt and pepper. Pat some butter on top and bake until tender. Then slice velveeta and melt over the top. Yum.

Why not??!! We dont like turkey here either but we love the stuffing/dressing. Dressing is just a side dish. We are having spiral ham and stuffing on the side. Other side dishes are mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, corn, green beans, rolls and don't forget the pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Have a great thanksgiving!

sure, dressing goes with anything. go to yahoo's new food section they have a lot of recipes you can look through and see if there's something you want to go with ham. if i serve ham i usually serve scalloped potatoes though.

Sure, there are lots of different stove top stuffing mixes with different seasonings that would go nicely with ham. But wild rice is good with ham, buttered egg noodles w/ spices, scalloped potatoes, baked white or sweet potatoes, mashed potaoes, yikes, they all sound yummy!

Absolutely! Serve what you want, not what is "traditional". Heck, if you want Spaghettio's on the side, feel free! To each their own, right? Enjoy your stuffing and have a happy Turkey Day!

Dressing is better with turkey or chicken, but if you are having ham, why not try some au gratin or scalloped potatoes or even some potato salad?
