It seems like a no brainer to me, keep the one you've got. You could go for the crush but be prepared for a possible let down. On the other hand test the waters, you only live once.

Date both. Make them work for your attention.
At some point you will see a clear choice.
If you don't, drop both of them, be alone a while, and rest your heart and brain.
Get involved with your own life!
Then get with someone totally new that is better than either one.
