Hi! I have identical twins and I also have a friend who is an identical twins. Here's a few facts:

1. Identical twins have identical DNA.

2. If a female set of identical twins had children with a male set of identical twins then the resulting children would genetically/biologically be SISTERS/BROTHERS even though legally/emotionally/etc they would be COUSINS.

3. This means that they would look as similiar as brothers and sisters do. There is alot more at work than DNA when determining how the baby looks. My identical twins look very much alike but if you look closely you do notice differences.

My identical twin friend said she and her sister always wanted to marry identical twins to see what would happen. :-)

Hope this helps!

No. IF you ever study DNA and the way it is assigned it is very technical.

Everyone has a bit of their mother and a bit of their father. Now in the next generation there is a chance that One of these families will have the mother of the females twin's hair and the other family can have the father of the males twin's hair... It would be easier if I could do a diagram on here but I cant. Just remember . Your children don't only have traits from you and ur partner. They have pieces of your family too which is why a blonde couple can have a read headed baby.

I think is possible if both of the twins were having girls, but if one;s having a boy and the other a girl then they might not. There a 50% changes they can be identical.

They may indeed look very similar. The genetic structure of the female twins is virtually the same. Likewise for the genetic structure of the male twins. So the offspring of each pairing would have very similar genetic pairings inherited from both parents. The "wild card" factor is what genetics are passed down to the children from past generations (parents, grandparents, etc).

No.... its an interesting thought, but think about it....

If that was so siblings (with EXACT same parents as opposed to identical twins of parents) would be identical as well.

lol... No because the DNA goes back further than one generation. The kids of the twins would have their grandparents genes from both sides also from their parents.

I'd say that the chances of their offspring looking identical is astronomically high. I doubt if the cousins would look idential - the parents' gene pool is simply too big and varied.

i think of that should be fantastically rattling cool. think of of a pair that has diverse childrens. i think of it may be something like that. The cousins could in all probability look like brothers and sisters. i does not be shocked if one in all Sara's and one in all Emily's could look plenty alike. i'm specific there are some available in the international.

probably not, because the 1st set of identical twins probably wouldn't have a baby together, that's considered incest

Depends if the kid's are on the mother or the father's side of the gene pool.
