The worst i ever ate was Chinese food and meat. The thought of it makes me both physically and mentally ill. What was the worst thing you ate, but was forced to eat it or you just tried it?

Have a nice day!

I went to a friends house once when I was younger and she gave us a well known brand of instant mash that was still powdery in the middle, burnt fish fingers (we preferred fish fillets) and the yuckiest baked beans imaginable. For pudding we had burnt christmas pud and white sauce - the only trouble was that she didn't read the packet properly and we got white ONION sauce with it. The only thing we liked was the lemon meringue pie, and that was brought by my mum.

At an ex-boyfriend's, the first time I met his parents.

His mum was Italian, very traditional, and had cooked the meatballs for the the main course in the tomato sauce that went on the pasta.

I was halfway through the pasta when I discovered some small bits of meatball - yeuch! I felt awful eating it but couldn't make a fuss because she'd tried so hard, bless 'er! and it was the first time I'd eaten at their house

One time, at a Christmas party at my first husband's aunt and uncle's house, they served chili and I normally LOVE chili, but this was the most God-awful chili I had ever tasted. I mean it was soooooooo nasty! But everyone around me was eating it and seemed to really be enjoying it, so I went ahead and ate it and didn't say anything for fear of embarrassing my husband.

I had a mate who ate a packet of pistachio nuts before saying they were a bit crunchy. He hadn't taken them out the shells.

What are those really expensive type of mushrooms? I can't remember the name of them now, but ugh...I hated the texture.

That and some hormel canned mac and cheese when in I was college. But I was poor and hungry back then.
