This is just in general question, wanting to know some guy opinions...:

A girl who you find not very attractive, but okay looking says to you "Do you think I'm pretty?"

Do you lie? or point out the things you like? or are you honest?

I personally think that everyone has something pretty or attractive. so i use that and go with it. if they are ugly i tell them oh you have nice legs or you have a good sense of humor.but never call them ugly to their face.thats just wrong. so then im basically lying. lol.Ive noticed that being honest now adays just gets you into trouble so for that I lie.

The polite and gentlemenly thing to do in this situation would be to say " I can certainly see how someone would find you attractive", followed by something complimentary such as a nice comment about her hair, or her eyes... It would be rude to bluntly say no.... people in general, have enough negativity thrown at them everyday, if given the opportunity, we should try and do a little good when we can...even if its just making someone smile and feel special for a moment.

Pretty takes on many definitions...
It could be a smile...
It could be eyes...
It could be a cute smirk...
The twist of the lips when she smiles...
It could even be the glow of the cheeks...
And then in combination or totality...
It all depends on how someones looks actually manifests them self in someones mind...
So when asked "Do you think I'm pretty?"...
The answer will always be yes... because there is beauty and attraction in all of us... And we naturally look for it...
If you want to see ugly and unattractiveness... flaws... you can see that as well... but only if that's what lives inside of you...

i always act bashful like i'm embarassed because i've had a secret crush on her so she feels good about herself. i tell her she's beautiful. because there's no lie in it. because inside she's an amazing person with a great personality. i'd compliment the features she does have rather than fill her up with false notions. i'd tell her that she's staggeringly georgeous and that a boy should be so lucky as to be asked that question from such a lady.

that's what i usually do

Usually it is easy to be honest with people you don't care about much. Yes, with good friends it is definitely going to be a lie. But I am terrible at that and they always understand that anyway.

Stupid question... if you are very attractive that means you are beautiful, if u are not very attractive but OK, means you are pretty... So I would tell yes you are... it's not like she asked "hey, do u thing I'm beautiful?"

i would say 'yes'. if a gal looks ok to me, i say yes, u r pretty. if a guy laugh or say no, they r very very rude. i might point out somethin which i think that makes her pretty.

You say that you think that she looks good, and point out some features that you like ie her eyes, hair, booty, etc...
