I had a flood, had dehumidifiers and fans on, it got very hot and dry in kitchen, is canned food still ok?

Canned food is still ok. Wash the cans first though, as the outside of the can can be contaminated with yucko! But, the can is sealed, and so the stuff inside is good. That is why they tell ya to stock up on canned food for emergencies/disasters. go ahead and use it up.

I would say that vegetables, beans etc are alright, but not protein rich foods like Tuna, Chicken or Sardines.
