I know there is a large and successful Asian community in Canada; many Chinese came over to help build the railroad. However, I'm not certain how many Asians are of Taiwanese origin.
I suggest you google Statisctics Canada. They recently conducted a new census and should have at least some of the info you seek. Good luck.
