Then you are doomed to live on in ignorance. Being proud of your ignorance is disgusting.
Being afraid to read "outside the book" is a failing many people of faith have. The koran or astrology or any other silly belief is just as ridiculous as your bible. If you can read one silly fairy tale, why not read the rest of them ? After that maybe read an actual book on science or history and get yourself educated.

Does the Holy Spirit prevent you from reading TV guide? If you are not a believer, someone else's holy text is merely a book. Are you worried that you will see something in the Koran that will destroy your faith? I doubt the beliefs of a true believer would be so fragile.

the biggest blunder of your question is that Matthew 24:36 isn't pertaining to 1914 - the commencing up of Jesus' presence. The "day and hour" of Matthew 24:36 is pertaining to the top of this methodology of issues - Armageddon. The Bible teach e book says on internet site 204: "relating to the top of this methodology of issues, he costs Jesus as asserting: 'appropriate to that day and hour no one is familiar with, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, yet in effortless terms the father.' " The e book needless to say refers to "the top of this methodology of issues," and not the commencing up of Jesus' presence. Now, at this think approximately time, Jesus would very nicely comprehend the "day and hour." He only did no longer comprehend it while he spoke those words in the 1st century. in spite of the undeniable fact that, the Watchtower and JWs don't comprehend the "day and hour," so which you question is in keeping with an incorrect premise.

Whosoever chooses to follow guidance, follows it for his own good; whosoever goes astray, goes astray to his own loss.
If you just read the above passage ..THAN THE HOLY SPIRIT JUST LET YOU READ NONE OTHER THAN A VERSE FROM THE QURAN (al-Isra’ 17: 15)

That's not the Holy Spirit. That's fear, or a choice to stay in ignorance. JMO.

hey, it`s good to finally hear this from someone else, I too have no urge at all to read the koran, and some others i.e, the book of mormon, the talmud, or any of the neo-pagan novels or books and I too believe that the Holy Spirit does not want me to enter into these falsehoods.
