Why do Muslims always use sandals? Is it a ritual (or however..)?

Use sandals for what! They wear other foot wear other than sandals, and it is not a ritual or whatever.

I am going to get it for this statement, but here it goes.
I know why they wear sandals when they go to their payers in the Mosques. They can't wear shoes inside, so they buy the least expensive foot wear they find, just in case someone take their sandals, they wouldn't care. Believe it or not, it happens a lot of times. Some people take others shoes. It happens.

The Muslims in my home town might wear sandals in the summer, but come winter time, they wear heavy boot like the rest of the population. Come to think of it, in the summer I wear sandals most days and winter boots in the winter.

They generally "use" sandals as shoes. (although there are other forms of footwear available in their respective countries. This is due to the fact that we live in the 21st Century.......

First you mustn't talk about all Muslims and you mustn't say 'always'..Because for example I don't wear as a Muslim..And wearing sandals isn't about Islam I think.

not all muslims where sandals, it depends where they are from. muslims come from hundreds of different countries so they wear whatever is customary in that country.

i thought it was because they usually live in a very hot climate.
and maybe not a lot of air conditioning. for many years the culture developed in a hot climate, and air conditioning is rare and new.
