Ok, I am currently attending college but I only have two classes, one I have a B in and the other an F.

I have to pay the college $870.20 before I can register for spring, but I dont have that money right now.

I asked if I could withdrawal and return in spring, but they said I would have to pay the whole "spring's" tuition out of my pocket. (I only get the stafford loan...Im not eligible for grants and I dont have any scholarships).

I was going to transfer to another college next fall, but Im wondering if I should stay and pay, withdrawal and not go back and then attend the other college the next fall.

I cant do work study to pay for it anyways, and I have a job...but Im living on my own and paying my own bills. The only reason I am not able to get grants is because when I filled out the FAFSA, I was filed under my parents because I lived with them most of that year.

Explaining the situation will not do anything, Ive already talked to them and nothing can be done until I file my tax papers as independant.

They do not have payments, they want me to pay it all before I can register for spring.

I dont have any family here, and Im unable to get a loan from anyone. Ive already tried banks.

Lastly, the last day to drop with a "W" and not an "F" is next monday.

if you have a finical hold it will transfer to all colleges... so i would take care of that balance... besides that... i would reflect of what i really want right now... the credits.... the money .... the effort....

its all what you want... ask yourself...reflect

Can you re-file and tell them that your living/ financial situation has changed? I would stay there is no point delaying getting your education done but is there any way you can pay it in payments and come to some agreement with the college? It seems a shame to stop studying then sometimes you can get stuck in the work world and never return......which would be a shame.
Anything you achieve now will help you get a better job in the future which will eventually pay more.
what about a loan from a friend or your parents?

The first thing to do is to get that F grade up. Then pay. Don't ever stop. A lot of people stop and never make it back. $840 doesn't seem like a lot for a semester, it must be part time? Focus, you will love yourself for it later.

You need to visit with a counselor at the financial aid office at your college. Explain your situation, and ask them for their advice. At this point a withdrawl is almost certainly an "F", so that's probably not the best option.
