Lately everytime I vist my bank I am disgusted. Today all 5 tellers were chewing gum, passing it back and forth in their mouth and I could see the pieces of gum. They also dress badly and when they bend over I can see their underwear. They wear shirts that are too short and show off the skin on their mid riff. It seems like a professional job is being taken so lightly, is my personal bank info taken lightly too? If this had been Walmart I would have not cared. Do you think I am being over picky about this? I am seriously considering changing banks.

I did not mean to spell Bank teller wrong. No need telling me that I did.

I will not name my bank at the moment, I am not sure that it would be right.

I agree. People in a professional position should dress appropiately. I would call and make a complaint with the manager. We do make assumptions based on the way people dress & when your financial information is being handled by people who may not take their responsibilities seriously...you have a valid reason for making a complaint.

I think it depends on what customers they are trying to attract. I have lately noticed an advertisement for a local bank that emphasizes their tellers wear blue jeans like normal people do. Your bank might be trying to attract young consumer trade by having such a casual dress code and atmosphere. If you are offended, by all means speak to a manager as I'm sure they will appreciate the input. I would like to believe that they are still sticking with their high standards for banking and confidentiality practices though.

I think that's awful. I work in retail (not even clothing) and there is a dress code that must be followed because the general public doesn't want to shop at places where people look trashy. I would report it to the manager, or make an anonymous complaint if you feel more comfortable, and see what action is taken, and if none, then switch banks. Even at Wal-Mart, I don't expect to see people's underwear or worse.

What does their dress and what they have in their mouth have to do with your money in a bank they work for? None of your complaints have anything to do with the service or your safety. It does not matter what they wear. Change banks if you want to but... Yes, you are being too picky by thinking you have any authority to tell anyone else what they should or should not wear. How much do you think those employees are getting paid. Do you think they work 40 hours a week, take care of their family, go to school, live their own lives, etc... on their salary. I think you should be nice to them, complement them, maybe even give them a tip if your more wealthy then they are. Spread love, acceptance and wealth.

No, and any bank teller i know of (i used to work for a bank) would have been fired after one warning. Ask to speak to the manager and tell them you'll be moving your accounts, and be explicit as to why. Then back that up with a letter to the corporate office.

If that's their employee standard, i wouldn't trust them, either.

definitely i think of it relies upon on how and the place you're chewing it. case in point I hate it whilst human beings make noises or bite with their mouth open. while you're chewing it discreetly and courteously what's the great deal? additionally it particularly is not suitable to bite it at specific circumstances or places. case in point, i wouldn't in any respect bite gum mutually as giving a lecture, nor could I settle for it from scholars the two.

if a bank let's their employees act/dress like that can you imagine what they're letting happen to the money. It sounds like they just don't care. I'd switch banks immediately. Then write to the bank manager and let them know why.

A letter to the bank manager should take care of it. They sound like a bunch of classless skanks.
