Hi Sarah...if your cat hasn't had a bowel movement in 3 days you need to ring your vet and make an appointment quickly. This is something to be urgently concerned about as there could be a bowel obstruction and can be fatal. By ringing and discussing this over the phone the vet can determine how quickly the cat needs to be seen since there needs to be some questions answered to determine if in fact this is very urgent.

If you don't know your first aid for cats then you go to the vet.
If you did know any first aid you would have known not to wait this long; if you use oil now it will take too long to work.

This could be a blockage or torsion, your kitten needs to see a vet,
no excuses.

Your cat sounds like He/She is a little constipated. As long as you are feeding him/her well and not changing his food too much, there should be no reason for this. Try a little mineral oil, this should work with in two days, about a half teaspoon per day. If he/she doesn't go after that, take him/her to the vet. After he/she does go, discontinue the mineral oil because too much will cause diarrhea.

Take it to the vet FAST, you should have done this by the 2nd day, it could die if it doesn't evacuate.
