Do u look on the outside of a person or the inside (no stupid answers plz)

When I was younger it was the outside, Now that I am older and mature I look on the inside because its not fair to judge someone by the way they look, I been with my boy friend for 2 in a half years now and at first I thought he was ugly because I didn't know him, now my baby is so sexy to me- his personality is just that good.....

I read where people can determine whether another person is 'attractive looking' in only 1/10 of a second. That seems too brief to be able to make a qualified judgement about anybody.

There is so much more to a person than physical attraction - how they carry themselves (self-confidence, independence), how they communicate (what they say and the breadth of their education and thinking), whether they are open or closed to others (not just body language, but also receptive to new people or even ideas.) And countless other aspects of a person's personality.

To me, the inside matters far more than the outside in a long-term relationship.

Oh.............. inside, BIG time. If the outside is not offensive then the quest is for the inside. Unless there is a great deal of cover up, the inside ALWAYS shines through - believe me.

First outside to see if there is an attraction, then inside. If I am physically attracted, then what is on the inside will either make that attraction grow or wither away. That's how 99% of all men are.

Because even though it may be more attractive on the outside it will not last for ever. Where as beauty on the inside will. Sorry if this sounds gushy but I am a true romantic at heart.

as human beings we all are guilty of seeing the outside first, but the ppl who stop looking after that are missing out on so much in life they never get to know ppl on a personal level. my own policy is to look at everthing (and i mean everything everywhere) as a whole you have to see inside a person to know wether or not you are compatible. in this age of instant gratification we all could benefit from a little looking around (as well as inside ourselves) if you dont find what your looking for on the outside try looking on the inside.

honestly (and its gonna sound shallow but its true weather you are a male or female) i look at the outside first their physical appearence is the deciding factor on weather i want to try and have an intimate relationship with them or if they are just friend material. Thats not to say later that you cant fall for the "friend material" one because you know them on the inside. But initially the physical appearance is what people tend to notice first

well you need to like the outside to even try to see the inside but sometimes you might just happen to meet someone who you might not find atractive at first but after getting to know them you really like them and the other way around you might see this guy who is so hot you want to take his clothes off with your teeth but as soon as you start conversating you find out how self absorb they are and that is just a complete turn off i guess the inside counts more then the outside but the outside still important for the physical atraction

First on the outside - if you don't know a girl at first, then all you have to go on is looks.

Then on the inside - If I like a girl, I always want to know what her character is like.

I know it is a cliche, but personality really DOES count for a great deal. I have known girls who have been great looking, but have been absolute monsters when I have got to know them.

I have also known girls who weren't quite as good 'on the outside' but were much, MUCH better on the inside, and I was so much happier in their company.
