80 ounces is quite a bit. It is 5 bottles at 16 ounces each, but hey, if you have a 20 ounce bottle, you only need four.

Of course, when you add ice to a 32 ounce drink from 7-11 then you don't have a full 32 ounces, because the ice takes up space.

As long as there isn't a dark yellow color, you're doing well. If you're doing alot of activity, you may be diverting some of your excess water to sweat which makes your urine darker in nature. As for losing weight, yes, it has been shown that drinking one glass before starting the meal actually helps in weight loss because the stomach becomes fuller quicker. 80 ounces is a good amount of water. There's no magic number of glasses or ounces - sadly personal urine analysis is probably the best judge of that. There's no problem to drinking more water - except for waking up later at night.

Eighty ounces of water is equal to two and one half quarts or ten eight ounce cups.

It may be difficult to drink enough water on a busy day. Be sure you have water handy at all times by keeping a bottle for water with you when you are working, traveling, or exercising. ♥
