Just sit at a coffee shop and watch all the people walking around. It can be so much fun, especially if you are a tourist and have free time. It is just like a movie lol I love NYC and it's people.

The city is beautiful at Christmas time. Depending on where you go, decorations will still be up. Go see the giant snowflake at the corner of Tiffanys, the tree at Rockefeller of course and wander around looking at the windows. Then pop in to a bar for a hot drink and enjoy the atmosphere. It's better after Christmas and everyone is calm again.

During the day go on a long walk through Central Park - it is lovely in the wintertime.

Avoid the hot chestnuts fro the street vendors though. They smell great but are disgusting.

I like to go shopping at Macys, Lord and Taylors and Bloomingdales. See the tree at Rockefellar Center and just walk down Madison Avenue or whatever avenue comes to me. I like to see the story on the Saks Fifth Avenue window and Lord and Taylors. I also like to atch the people ice skating at Rockefellar Center. Central Park is a ncie place to see people do whatever they want. Especially hwne it's snowing, the park is beautiful

For me its to go and see the lighting of the Christmas tree. It just amazes me to see how an ugly tree from when it's first brought into the city is turned into such a beautiful thing w/ lights alone.
