And if so, why do you do that? Do you have any idea how dangerous that is? Not to mention annoying? Do you ever stop to think that there may children in the car and if their driver has to make a sudden stop, you could hit them and kill them? There is nothing I hate more than looking in my rearview mirror and seeing another vehicle so close that they look like they are in my back seat! BACK OFF!

Well, Just2Candid, unlike some people, I don't put my children's lives at risk, tail-gators do. And unlike some people, I do the speed limit. I have just as much right as anybody else to drive my car on any public road of my choosing. People like you who think you own the road are the ones who put people's lives at risk. And until you cause the death of an innocent child or loose your own child to some idiotic driver, I suggest you learn what that pedal next to the gas pedal is for! Until then I am obeying the law like anyone with any sense should do, and if by chance you ever tailgate me, well I hope you like the taste of my ***, 'cause your going to get a mouth full! (And I say that with a smile!)

Well, i do agree with you on one point. On city roads tailgating is just stupid and pointless.

HOWEVER, if you driving the speed limit in the passing lane on the highway and don't move out of the way when you see someone coming up, then you provoke it if you can clearly move to the other lane. You know that's why people use the far left lane but you take it upon yourself to hold the people on the left lane up when most people move out of the way or just stay in the slower moving lanes if the traffic in front of them is moving at the same speed.

I'm not justifying it, but you don't know why the other driver is in a hurry. Maybe his wife is in the hospital. Maybe his wife needs to got o the hospital. Maybe its an emergency where they can't wait for an ambulance. Who cares? Just move. Why cause grief and road rage? By making faster moving vehicles having to brake unnecessarily on the highway is causing a dangerous situation. Mind you, there are jerks who just move right up on you and don't wait for you to have on opening in the other lane. In that case I see your point.

In any case, left lane drivers know how to use the brake, otherwise you would have had a bumper up your a s s by now.

i understand that you dont like drivers tailgating you, especially when there are children in the backseat. however, there is nothing much you can do about it, because it is just going to happen all the time. a lot of people nowadays tend to drive faster than the posted speed limit, no matter how much they get caught. my advice to you is to at least show some courtesy and let the tailgators pass, by moving at least to the middle lane. not only will it favor the faster drivers, but it will also prevent a possible road rage, and even an accident.

I agree totally, but if your in the fast lane (2 lane hwy) or middle lane (3 lane hwy) and just barely doin the speed limit and yakkin on a freakin cell phone...why not have the common courtesy to move over and let people by?

There is a simple solution to this ..... get the heck out of the way. Why would you risk your kids lives by annoying someone that doesn't think you are going fast enough.

No way, I hate people that are on your rear end. I mean if the front car is going to slow why not just change lanes. But no some people are just weird!!!!!!!!!!!!
