Pick up lines rarely work. What are women supposed to say back to something lame like the ones listed below and even the one you said to that teacher? It's normally not flattering.
Compliment her (genuinely, not creepily), or ask her a question about something...start an actual conversation and I can guarantee you'll get a lot better results.
