Answer: Yes.

Jesus: “All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Mt. 28:18-20 ASV).

That's called the Great Commission. I say it has the weight of a commandment, as He is the Son of God.

Since the Gospel includes Christ's teaching that:

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

It logically follows that Jesus did, in fact, command us to tell others that He is the only way.

Yes! Jesus commissioned all believers to teach all the world the good news and to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus, claims that the reason He came into the world was to testify to the truth and that everyone on the side of truth listens to Him. John 18:37

If we accept this statement as true, then we have to accept the bible as the true and inerrant word of God. This is because Jesus stood on the truth claims and promises of God that are in the written word of God, the bible. He fulfilled all of the prophecies of a coming messiah and fulfilled all of the law, living without sin.

We have to ask our self, Do I really believe what I claim to believe?

God cannot lie. As a Holy and Righteous God this truth will never change. This means that all the truth claims and promises of God are true. As a result God has set the standard for truth not man. We either accept God's truths about life and our purpose or we turn away from God and the truth to deceive our self and accept lies that help us justify our existence and lack of direction and purpose.

Is Jesus the Lord of your life and helping you to have knowledge with understanding in regard to the truths of God?

In what way do the truth claims and promises of God effect your outlook on life and the world around you?

Right off I can't think of a scripture but I do believe we should tell others. There is one scripture that says, Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in that my house might be full.

More believers equals more dollars in the collection basket. All religions are businesses.
