You could buy a payphone, go on incoming calls only or get in touch with bt about getting a code for your phone that you have to enter before use.

Call BT and tell them they can give you a code that you will need to enter everytime you make a call.
My Dad did it when I was living at home, it was very effective :)

My brother has a cover with a key he bought in a hard ware shop they can take calls & ring 911 or 999 but thats all they can use it for

get call barring put on only £1.75 a month you can bar almost any call and then if you do need to make a call to a barred number all you need to do is enter a 4digit pin number!
