you should be sweet and nice with religion anyway.. people pushing you to do things isnt reason to do them ... you have choices

Yes you can be sweet and nice but in order to maintain your dignity and be true to yourself and your spirituality, you must be ready to stand firm for it if necessary. If you allow other people to ruffle your feathers all the time then you are not really hurting anyone but yourself. If you see a question that appears to scream at you for an answer, then just do it honestly. You can be truthful and tactful, although some of these people make it difficult. They are few and far between though...

put it this way Jesus is described as an active pacifist because He was against doing violence to another person and this is correct, but if you study the Gospels you will find that Jesus could be stern and put those who mocked God in their place.
now this is spiritual courage, and sometimes nice and sweet won`t cut it with those who delight in mocking the Lord.
when you are being pushed into something that you know is wrong for you,you must be like the Lord and be firm and state your refusal with strong conviction.
if you fail to adopt this strong Christian attitude then you run the risk of weakening your spirit.

The second people find out you are "religious", they are going to push you to do bad things. I suppose you could substitute "polite but firm" for "sweet and nice"....

you dont need to be religious to be "sweet" and "nice"

no1 can make u do bad things.... its all your willpower....

if you dont want to you want. if your easily swayed then i guess u will.
