The cooler temperature from the north is blowing into Thailand now. Weather is slightly cooler than normal. You can still expect day temperature in Bangkok to hit the 30s. However in the north and north-eastern areas, the day temperature is in the mid-20s. So depends on where you will be in Thailand. In fact the nights will be cold in the north and northeast, especially in the mountains.

I was in Bangkok and Phuket for Christmas (December 25) in 2006. I found it quite hot, though the locals were saying it was cold. I guess it depends on what the weather is like where you are coming from.
For the record, it was about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. It was also quite humid in Bangkok. I wore sandals the whole time and bought a bunch of those cotton shirts they sell on the street.
We went swimming the whole time in Phuket.
You are going to have a blast!
Don't eat any cockroaches from the vendors though LOL!

To-day now in Bangkok (07.05 AM) it's getting hot and going to be thundery, possibly heavy showers probably go to about 90f. Last week in Hua Hin it was about 90f on average
My Thai friends tell me it should have been cooler but weather is changing all over the world.Next week here in Bangkok it's scheduled to be cooler. Come for a great holiday with a practically empty suitcase and buy what you need here!.
