Hi there! "Agnostic" means a person for whom the existence of God and the nature of thinks is unknown, or thinks that the human's knowledge is limited to facts experienced. A person that is not an atheist but, who has doubts about the existence of God.
"Gnosticism" is a philosophical-religious current which tries to mix the christian theology with the greek philosophy and some oriental religions, sustaining the possibility to acquire the mystical knowledge. The greek word "gnosis" means the knowledge acquired through personal experience.

Taoism is a Chinese Religion that tries to teach transcendence and spiritual connectedness. One of the most famous symbols of Taoism is the Ying and Yang (the black and white circle) is represents balance and how everyone should try to balance nature with human, action with inaction, the male with female. Tao is not a cult, but she may still be in a cult that uses some of the teachings of Tao.

The true test of a cult is whether or not she is forced by her religion to give up her friends and family, separating her from her old life.

No creator gods (at least none in Lao Tsu's book Tao te ching) just an attempt at spiritual transcendence.

Agnostic is what I am. In a nutshell: Evolution nor Creationism has been proven right or wrong, so I don't know what to believe. I don't wanna be like the Athiests and say there is nothing, but at the same time I don't wanna be like the Catholics/Christians and say there is something. So basically, I am neither accepting nor rejecting the possibility of a higher power. I just don't know.

I think you are referring to Taoism. It is an eastern philosophy. I'll give you a link to read about it. It doesn't require the belief in a God although some adherents do have Deistic beliefs. Agnostic means someone who doesn't think it is possible to know for sure whether there is or is not a God.
