I think the Native Americans weapons of mass destruction were their freedom of thought freedom of beliefs freedom of religion. How do you conquer some one that would rather die than change their beliefs, some one that can survive without being dictated to how to live and what to think? If there way of thinking would catch on governments would not exist, taxes would not exist and everyone would be responsible for there own family group.
Possibly there greatest weapon was to instill fear in the government that they would no longer be needed? Would that be so bad?

No we the all and sundry isn't the weapon of mass destruction yet we've a protection stress and weaponry waiting in a position and keen if attacked like in 9/11? Why ought to we now not be waiting to shield ourselves against all the others that have the comparable? certain that's what you will do in case you have been for my section attack is combat back. we are only fortunate adequate to have those varieties of people paying taxes and 12 months after 12 months living, going to college, going to artwork in peace and yet whilst threatened specific we can shield ourselves and this u . s . a . from any aggressive stress that threatens our way of existence, and we additionally will shield ourselves against a dictatorship it particularly is tearing this u . s . a . to shreds for his or her very own very own benefit as nicely. yet all in reliable time, all in reliable time.

well, i'm native, and we didn't have weapons of mass destruction, just poor immigration laws. lol...it's a joke ppl.

acc...you are so ignorant and prissy sounding. native ppl pay taxes. i don't know where you got your information from, but it's totally false. the only native ppl i know, which are hundreds, who do not pay taxes, are the ppl who don't make enough money to file. we don't pay sales tax when we buy from businesses operating on our reservations.

while we're on a roll here, the most amusing question most native ppl get is: how much money do you get for your monthly government check. we do not individually receive money from the gov't for being indian. we have not been compensated by the gov't like some other ethnic groups have. there are some native ppl who receive monies for land leases, for farming and mining, etc. there are some very rich tribes because they have oil and good mineral mining, timber, and ski-resorts, etc on their reservations. did you know that custer was after the black hills...my tribe's most sacred area...because of the tons of gold and silver there, which had no value to us. the gov't has mined out and ruined the black hills area, and is only now willing to give it back, after it no longer has any value to them. no lakota ppl have ever received compensation or even a partial share of the money from any of the mining in the black hills. i refuse to own any black hills gold or silver jewelry.

now about casinos: the tribes who have casinos are tribes who live in areas where there are large cities close by, and are high traffic areas. there are so many very poor tribes who are in isolated areas and have no natural resources that are marketable. don't forget that we were forced upon these lands, and made to stay there under guard watch. land that the gov't thought was useless. ppl who tried to escape were often jailed, tortured, and starved to death, or shot on site.

infant mortality is still higher on indian reservations than anywhere else in america. there are native ppl who are very bad off in this rich country. there is still substandardized medical care and education on a lot of reservations. type1 and 2 diabetes is highest among native populations, due to the loss of our indigenous foods.

as for being heathens, i refuse to believe in a religion that did not originate on this continent. it is as unfathomable to me as believing in santa claus, the easter bunny, or peter pan.

we are the only ethnic group allowed to be portrayed as sports team mascots, etc. you've all seen the teams whose fans dress in feathers and war paint, do the tomahawk chop, etc. it's down-right insulting and shameful. it's not even considered to be a form of racism. i've heard non-indian ppl say we should be flattered that teams are named after us.

indian ppl haven't had a voice in this country for centuries, but we will gain more political and economical power as we continue to buy up as much land as we can, and continue to build more casinos and make more money...we get it: the richer you are in this country, the more power and respect you have.

i could go on and on for days, but i don't feel most ppl give a damn about learning of the true injustices my ppl have suffered. yeah, a c c, freedom is a great thing, and we have as much right to it as you or any other group of ppl living here.
**traditional natives don't use the word "religion". we practice our earth medicine with every breath and beat of our hearts...just as our earth mother taught us with her breath and heart beat.
