How do i lock a file on XP home?

It is on my network drive, and i do not want to wory about others getting into my buissnes data, so how should i lock it?

I do not see that option, and i would like to lock a single file, or a document, or the whole network drive so people have to type a password.

right click the folder select sharing/security. Set the security to whoever you want to get in and who you don't want in.

if it's on the network and the files/folders are shared then you can go to sharing properties and set a password there
