my younger cousin and i have become pretty close...lately i've noticed a lot of jealousy...she tries to copy everything i do, even down to make-up...if i purchase something, she purchases two...i've never felt threatened by her until recently...she has lied to several of my acquantices and co-workers to keep drama going...what shoould i do? i have to see her everyday...trying to confront her has not helped at all...

Be mature and adult about it. Confront her again and tell her that u don't appreciate the made up drama and that u don't need that in your life and ignore her until you have to deal with her-then just do what you gotta do with her and roll on. I wouldn't even hold much of a convo with her unless if I had 2.

copying someone, is usually the most flaterring thing someone can do - even, though it is annoying. she likes what she sees in you and wants to be like you. you are setting an example for her. that's not really such a bad thing. what is bad, is that she is lieing. i'd just tell her that lieing is one thing you can't take, and that you know that she had done this, so if she wants to have ANYTHING to do with you she better knock it off. see if she starts changing, if not, tell her, again, look--i warned you about the lieing and you're still doing it--that's it, i don't want you hanging around with me, make some new friends and you can lie about them, but i won't put up with your lies.

MY advise is talking to her and confront her using some maniopulating...put her into a guilt format and she will let go...it may or may not break your relationship...it will for sure break apart the close tie...but u need your own life and not a xerox of it.

You need to back off from her. Do whatever it takes to get away from her and stay away, she can damage you because of her jealousy. Just get away from her.

she wants to be you, do something wierd and tell her it is the new faze and see what happens to her.
