I love the guy i am lving with but dont think I am in love with him. Can I grow to fall in love with him or shoould i cut ties now or what?

Someone asked if I had told him that I was NOT in love and I have but he didnt seem too concerned. I dont know what to do....he is a great guy but I dont want to marry him and I dont want to be with him forever but I dont know how to break it off. His family adores me and says I am the best thing that ever happened to him and that if it werent for me; he would not be doing as well

Loving someone and being in love is different, can you fall in love? Well that depends on what you want in a relationship. Falling in love happens when you and your partner both share the same dreams, goals, ambitions and desire to have the same kind of relationship, and life. Love in general grows over time, look at how your relationship with this person is now. How does he make you feel about yourself, do you laugh together, do you communicate with each other? Being in love is great, but it does not always last, relationships take work. This is what we fail to realize, we all want the fairytale or Hollywood version of being in love which we all know dose not exist. What is important is can you see yourself with this person 5, 10 years down the road, based on the qualities he has now, if you can then why? If you can't then why not? The answers will determine the issues you may or may not have currently and weather or not your in love won't matter.

You can grow to love someone, but you cannot grow to fall in love with someone. It's either there or it's not. Don't try to force it. It would be more fair to this man, if you let him go. That way, you can find that person you will fall in love with and he can find the person he's destined to be in love with. Have you sat down and talked to him? How does he feel? He may be feeling the same thing as you.

Believe me when you fall in love you KNOW. You don't have to question yourself. If you aren't 110% satisfied with your relationship or of you feel you want something more, than leave. You'll end up regretting it if you don't.

all depends on the person, your choice. sounds like you in no way will fall in love though, so just break it off.
