If your friend is a good friend, than she will know that you are not really a baby person. Not a lot of people are. Some people just can't contain themselves and want to smother babies with kisses when they see them. Everyone is different. If you feel really badly, buy a toy for the baby, or make her dinner so that she can have some relaxation time. Your friend will see that you still care, even if you're not inclined to hold the child.

I became a parent at a somewhat early age 19, most of my friends stop coming around as soon as my son was born.. they said that I would be different and would not want to go hang out or anything... this was not the case at all... I was a single mother and who says I could not still go kick it and have fun.. But now I have friends that either have kids or appreciate mine and we take all the children on play dates so things happen for a reason.

No I wouldn't feel bad because I know that some people aren't baby people. I wouldn't worry too much. As long as nobody is being rude or nasty then I have no problems.

depends on your friends personality. some people see their children as an extention of themselves. so she may be offended. it wouldn't hurt u too much to say, " he is getting cuter and cuter everytime i see him" than immediately change the subject so that she doesn't sit there and talk about him the whole time.

if it were me i wouldn't be.

I don't think you should feel bad. I bet you never really did much with other people's babies either.

It is really impossible to know how your friend feels. I don't know how senstive she is.

Personally, I know that not everyone really likes babies. That's just the way you are.

it's not wrong, I'd rather have you not baby my baby if you really weren't into him.
